Pasco County Fair!

A+picture+of+the+Pasco+County+Fair.
A picture of the Pasco County Fair.

It’s February so it’s fair time for Florida there’s multiple fairs going on like the State Fair, and the Pasco County Fair. The Pasco County Fair is held in Dade City, at the Dade City Fairgrounds, it’s the 77th annual for the fair. The date of the fair is February 19th-February 25th, it’s a very big thing for people who have lived here for most of their life, every year they get together with their family and have a good time at a little fair. This year the fair is sponsored by the Advent Health Company.

In the fair they have a lot of original things like the food trucks and stands, they have the regular fair rides, they have dog swimming races and pig races, which is not a regular thing everywhere but it’s a regular thing for our fair. They have different things every day of their opening days in bands, music, and cool presentations. Aside from all of that, a very big event at the fair is the art presentations from all the schools in Pasco County, they have competitions for who has the best creations or drawings and paintings. At the end of the fair, they have a big celebration for the winners of the competitions. Another tradition is the Chicken presenting, where farmers bring there best-looking chicken, male and female, and the judges decide who has the biggest healthiest chicken and they will be rewarded for their accomplishments. This also comes with shoutouts for them so companies will start to buy eggs and other products from their farm rather than others.

So in all the fair is a very easy cheap enjoyable thing to do with your families, so I suggest you to go check it out in the dates listed above, and just go have a good night with your family.
