What if I told you that you could have a change in our school’s pep rallies? If you could be in charge of your school’s pep rally, what would you add to make it exciting in your own way? Do you think you would make students excited to participate in your pep rally? We all know that everyone has different opinions from their own perspective. If you could have an opinion on pep rallies, what would you add to our rallies to make them more engaging and interesting? We asked our pep rallies head coordinator, Mrs. Miller, about her intentions for making pep rallies, and she says that she wants the students to participate in school spirit and make it fun for everyone to encourage us to get excited for games and support our players. You can also use your opinion on the games we play; a poll majority vote wins. We went around and asked different teachers and students if they feel like pep rallies make an impact on them. Teachers also said they see a change in their student athletes after the rallies, and they seem more encouraged to play harder on the court, field, etc. Teachers also feel an impact on themselves, seeing their students get excited to participate in activities. Some students say that they feel like we should have more games that include more students, like wearing our school colors on pep rally days, maybe even having a flash mob where students and teachers can gather in the middle to dance to their favorite songs. We all can have a part in our rallies so we can all support each other and have good wildcat spirit.
